Anne Clarke has won re-election as the London Assembly member for Barnet and Camden with an increased majority.

The Labour candidate, who was first elected in 2021, secured victory with a majority of 19,143 over her Conservative challenger Julie Redmond, up from 13,002 at the previous election.

Celebrating the result, Labour’s candidate for Chipping Barnet told Barnet Post: “It’s fantastic news that Barnet has voted for the London Labour team today. Anne Clarke is an outstanding local representative, and I’m looking forward to working with her this year as we make the case for a Labour government in the three Labour-Tory battlegrounds in our borough”
