You must apply by Tuesday April 16th to vote in the upcoming votes for London Mayor and Assembly

If you have not yet registered to vote in the elections for the Mayor of London and London Assembly taking place on Thursday 2nd May, you must do so by Tuesday 16th April. You can do this here. The deadline for applying for a postal vote falls less than 24 hours later, with applications needing to be received by 5pm on Wednesday 17th April. If you would like to vote by post, apply for a postal vote here.
These will be the first elections to be held in Barnet where voter ID is required. The UK Government has introduced a requirement for voters to show photo ID when voting at a polling station. Make sure you’re ready and have the right photo ID. To find out what types of ID will be accepted, visit the Electoral Commission website or call their helpline on 0800 3280280.
