AgeCare in Barnet named finalist in four categories in national competion the Care Home Awards

Care home management company AgeCare, which looks after Five Oaks in Barnet, has been named a finalist in four categories at this year’s Care Home Awards: Best for Wellbeing; Best for Use of Technology and Digital Care Strategy; Best for Specialist Care; and Best for Care Home Development.
AgeCare looks after nine care homes across the country, including Five Oaks in Hadley Wood, Barnet, a purpose-built residential care home for the elderly with 44 ensuite bedrooms, opened by AgeCare in February 1995.
AgeCare CEO, Dr Vishen Ramkisson, said: “The Care Home Awards are a real benchmark when it comes to care delivery, and at AgeCare we are known and respected for the quality of professional care services we offer. To be shortlisted in four categories just goes to highlight the commitment we have to providing the best living experiences for our residents.”
Dr Ramkisson added: “Our approach is to provide residential and nursing care to improve the quality of life for our residents by creating lovely, comfortable, homely surroundings, and planning care, activities, and other services around each resident’s needs and wishes.”
The Care Home Awards are an annual event rcognising care home management, operations, and delivery and celebrating the business of owning and running care homes in the UK.
Winners will be announced in a special ceremony at Royal Garden Hotel in London on 17th May 2024.
