A consultation in being held by The Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Board

Barnet’s Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Board is seeking views on a draft of the new Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

This strategy outlines how the Boardwill work towards making mental health and wellbeing support available to young people in Barnet effective and accessible, and how it will make sure that all young people in Barnet can be happy, healthy and thriving.

The draft strategy sets out basic principles to underpin the way The Board works within the Mental Health and Wellbeing system, and a vision for the borough with priorities around the development and enhancement of mental health and wellbeing services and support for children and young people.

The consulation closes on 17th Mach 2024. Ways to be involved, including an online questionnaire on the proposals can be found at the Barent Council website: https://engage.barnet.gov.uk/cyp-mhw-strategy-engagement
