Hendon FC reached the last 16 of the FA Trophy for the first time since 1999 following yesterday’s 2-1 win

Hendon FC have reached the last 16 for the first time since 1999 with a 2-1 victory at National League Oldham Athletic.
Niko Muir’s goal in the 6th minute of injury time secured victory for the Greens over the former Premier League side – after James Norwood’s penalty 3 minutes earlier had cancelled out Joe White’s 67th minute opener for Hendon.
Barnet Post reported on Friday on the importance of yesterday’s tie.
