Man charged following Golders Green antisemitism incident

The man was arrested for making antisemitic comments to members of the Jewish community on Saturday

A man has been charged following an antisemitic incident in Golders Green on Saturday.

Police arrested the man after being called to Golders Green Road due to reports of a man making antisemitic comments to members of the Jewish community.

The man has since been charged and he will appear at appear at Harrow Crown Court on 29th January.

Barnet police said: “No-one should be subjected to hate because of their faith or race and we are doing all we can to bring offenders to justice. Anyone who sees an incident of concern or experiences threatening behaviour is urged to contact police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
