Burnt Oak Leisure Centre to host inclusive party for all families and carers

In celebration of International Day for People with Disabilities, Burnt Oak Leisure Centre is hosting an inclusive party for all families and carers.

It takes place on Sunday 10 December, from 1pm to 4pm at Burnt Oak Leisure Centre, HA8 0AP.

The afternoon will include refreshments, dance showcases and a disco – as well as dance workshops with icandance, and fun and active games from Disability arts organisation Community Focus. Party goers can take part seated or standing. All ages are welcome, and it’s free to attend.

Community Focus Inclusive Arts is an Arts Centre for adults and children with disabilities, based in Friern Barnet. They run aselection of creative and wellbeing courses and workshops for students with disabilities, autism and anyone who feels they may need extra support.

icandance is a creative, therapeutic community that caters for the needs of children and young people and their families with lived experience of disabilities.
