Police appeal to trace man following Edgware rape allegation

A man was allegedly raped in a car park near Edgware underground station on Wednesday 6th September

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection following an allegation of rape in Edgware.

Shortly before 1am on the morning of Wednesday 6th September, a man in his 20s, was outside Edgware underground station in Station Road on his way home from a night out with friends.

He was approached by a man who began talking to him, before allegedly raping him in a nearby car park area.

The victim alerted the police, who then launched an investigation.

Detectives have now released an image of a man they want to speak to.

Anyone who recognises the man, or who can assist with the investigation, is asked to call 101 or post @MetCC ref CAD 3688/15SEP23.
