Former PC Jade Ebanks has been charged with five counts of rape reported to have occurred between 2018 and 2020

A former police officer for the area that covers Barnet will appear in court tomorrow on rape charges.
Former PC Jade Ebanks was charged with five counts of rape on Friday 28th April and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
The offences are reported to have occurred between 2018 and 2020 in Ealing and Hillingdon.
The former officer, who joined the Met in 2021, was attached to the North West Basic Command Unit, which covers Barnet, Brent and Harrow.
He was arrested in May 2022 and suspended from duty. He resigned from the Met on Friday 21st April 2023.
