A series of parties and other events are taking place in Barnet to mark the King’s coronation
Over 70 events are taking place in Barnet this weekend to mark the coronation of the King and Queen Consort.
Barnet Council is working in partnership with the City of London to hold a free coronation event at Golders Hill Park on Monday 8th May.
The event runs from 1pm until 9pm with food and drink stalls, live music and a family fun fair.
Other major events are taking place at different venues across the borough on Sunday and Monday.
There are also at least 68 street parties taking place over the weekend in different streets around Barnet – over 50 of these are taking place on Sunday.
