Firefighters called to Finchley Road premises yesterday reports David Floyd

Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze at a Golders Green beauty salon yesterday.
Four fire engines and 25 firefighters attended the premises in Finchley Road to tackle the fire, which is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault in a treatment chair.
The fire brigade was called at 11.50pm and the fire was under control before 1am.
A small part of the salon was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “Always follow manufacturers’ instructions when using electrical items, and we would advise not to leave them unattended.”
