The Hyde Nursery, on Church Passage, is hosting a number of open events and play sessions across August and into September – with parents encouraged to get in touch to book a personal tour of the new Ofsted-registered setting.

The day nursery, which is housed in Barnet’s Iconic Hyde building and located just minutes from the High St, will see its first cohort of children join the Nursery in September and has been fully-renovated to include a multi-functional garden room which leads out onto a secure outdoor area.

Age-appropriate rooms span two floors and include a range of hand-picked resources which are made from natural materials where possible.

Children attending the Nursery can expect to enjoy a nutritious menu provided by The Professional Nursery Kitchen, and the Nursery is big on outdoor play – with lots of planned trips into the community and to local green spaces, for fun in the fresh air.

Nursery Manager Gillian said: “Our wonderful Nursery is now ready and waiting for our first cohort of children to begin joining us from September.

“We’ve already had so much interest from local parents and have been made to feel so welcome.

“We’ve got a brilliant team here with a shared passion for child-led learning and discovery and look forward to bringing learning and life back to the heart of this building.

“If you haven’t already been to see us, book in a personal tour or attend one of our scheduled open days or free Thursday stay and play sessions, and come and discuss your childcare options. We looking forward to meeting your family.”

Current opportunities to visit the Nursery include tours by personal appointment, and the Nursery is also set to host free stay and play sessions on a Thursday morning throughout September, where non-members of the Nursery can come along with their children to enjoy the resources and meet the Nursery team.

Throughout August, the Nursery has also been offering free sensory sessions on Tuesdays, courtesy of Joanne who runs Hartbeeps Barnet and Enfield which have been extremely successful, with local lactation consultant Eszter Bove also in attendance to offer guidance to parents.

The Hyde Nursery is part of the award-winning CC Nurseries Group who already provide quality early childhood experiences and amazing spaces to over 800 families across Southern England and Scotland, with sister sites in Twickenham and Brentford.

The Nursery itself can be found opposite Costa Coffee (High St branch) and adjacent to St John The Baptist Church, with good bus and rail links.
