Arrest made following Ballards Lane death By Barnet Post
A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Finchley last week.
Police was called to an address in Ballards Lane, N12 on the morning of Friday 27th May and found a critically injured man, who died at the scene.
The victim was identified as 55-year-old Nicholas Sutin – and a post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death to be head injuries and a stab wound to the neck.
Jermaine Myers, 36, of Woodhouse Road, was arrested the following day. On Sunday May 29th, he was charged with the murder of Nicholas Sutin along with additional charges of possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a pointed / bladed article.
Myers was due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday 30th May.
A 40-year-old man was earlier arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been bailed until late June.
