artsdepot will manage a programme providing networking events and mentoring

A new programme has been launched in Barnet to support the borough’s creative businesses to develop networks, build skills and access mentoring.
The Barnet Arts and Culture Business Support Programme will be managed by North Finchley-based arts charity artsdepot, which has received £25k of funding from Barnet Council for the scheme, as part of Barnet’s share of funding from national government.
The programme includes:
- Networking events and workshops (including approaching festival programmers, marketing, facilitation, developing creative ideas)
- Industry news and updates about available funding opportunities
- Tailored one-to-one mentoring on topics like fundraising, business planning and marketing, with potential cost recovery for participants.
The programme is open to any Barnet-based sole trader, CIC, registered company or charity in the arts and culture sector.
